(My title is hopelessly unoriginal. Really, Dusk, really? Rising Storm? Is that the best you could think of? *facepaws* At least it suits the occasion. Three cheers for Storms of the Clans!) Duskheart sniffed and her nose itched. She had whitecough, turning into greencough, and she wasn't too happy about it. She shifted herself to make herself more comfortable. How can I serve my Clan when I have whitecough? Argh, it feels like moons until I'm rid of this whitecough. She straightened up. The Clan didn't have a medicine cat - yet. But it might be moons until they got a medicine cat. Duskheart's emerald gaze flicked from side to side. There was no sign of activity in the ThunderClan camp... no cats around. When will we get more cats? StarClan help us.She had a ominous feeling that whitecough would be the least of their worries. She could feel a storm rising... a storm none of them could stop. ( Lionstar, I hope I'm not breaking any unwritten rules or written ones by predicting/prophesying the storm/s, even though it's vague. PM me if I am and I'll delete this ASAP) EDIT: (I forgot, Lionstar, am I breaking a rule because my charrie has whitecough? I know ShadowClan has a rule against this, but ThunderClan?)

(The title is fine. And you are staff you can make a prophecy but next time ask me first Also since we have no medicine cat right now, I don't know what the rules for sicknesses will be but I will allow it for now) Lionstar padded towards the medicine cats' den to talk to his deputy. It was raining heavily over ThunderClan camp and thunder rumbled in the distance. He heaved a sigh. It always seems stormy, even when the sun is out. He slipped into the den, and dropped a slightly soggy piece of prey beside Duskheart. "I'm sorry the prey is so muddy, it's the best piece I could find." Lionstar sat beside his deputy's nest. "Anyway, how have you been? It is most unfortunate you have fallen ill."

(Maybe we should have a Gathering or something so everyone can roleplay together)
Duskheart twitched an ear. She was grateful that Lionstar had thought to visit her. "Thanks for the fresh-kill, Lionstar." Duskheart purred. She swallowed a mouthful of prey. "I'm fine. Anyway, I'm sure my whitecough will go away in a week... or two." Her muscles tensed as the thunder rumbled once again. She sighed gustily. The rain slicked her black fur down, making her look small and wretched. "I feel like StarClan is angry about something. Have you disagreed with any of the other Clans lately?" She glanced hopefully at her leader. Maybe she wasn't the only one who could sense it... that feeling in the air.

(When we have all four leaders maybe)
Lionstar sighed. "StarClan has no reason to be angry with us. In fact I doubt StarClan have nothing to do with it."

(Maybe we could make some Non-Playable Characters until people apply for the staff positions. Oh, and is SotC canon, like after Bramblestar's time?)
Duskheart shuddered. Is he talking about the storm... or something else? "The Dark Forest?" she meowed.

(Yea like 5 generations after Bramblestar)
"No, something different... I sense it is rising from within the Clans." He shuttered.

Wow, you posted at four o'clock in the morning in Aussie time) Duskheart tensed. She had sensed tension within the Clans, but she had thought it was just the usual tension; that they wouldn't have enough prey or cats to catch it. Duskheart twitched the tip of her tail as if it was caught in a breeze. "Will the Clans fight?" she wondered aloud. (Our posts are getting shorter and shorter )

(Yes shuddered XD I wasn't thinking right. And when I posted that it was like 2:30 in the afternoon)
"I hope not." Lionstar growled. StarClan haven't talked to us in moons, do they know what is coming? Why aren't they warning us, have they given up on the Clans? He scraped the ground with his claws. "Hopefully StarClan will warn us if something bad is to come, but for now you need to focus on getting better. I need my deputy back." Lionstar felt rain dripping through the den roof. "And your never gonna get better if every time it rains you get wet. I will make sure it is fixed."

Duskheart nodded gratefully. She felt better already. "I'm still well enough to organise patrols," she meowed.
(I'm going to make an edit for Lionstar because I'm sooo BAWRED, you don't have to use it, just bury it somewhere in your computer's files)

(I am gonna use it, because it amazing.)
Lionstar looked sternly at his deputy. "You need to rest and get better, not tire yourself out with sorting the patrols. I will do it, just focus on getting better."

(I found that pic on the internet, it really matched Lionstar's description how I imagined Lionstar, so I used it! I added the shadow part, the other white border was already there. Does Lionstar have amber eyes and what was his warrior name? I'm so curious. I gave Duskheart a cold cos I have one in rl. I'm feeling better, not fully recovered, but better)
Duskheart (would have smiled weakly if she could, but cats can't, so yea) flicked her tail. "Of course I should," she protested. "How can I get better if you keep spoiling me?"

(Thats it we need to get more members. PLOT TIME BABY! )
Lionstar twitched his whiskers. "Ok, if you insist you may get back to sorting patrols. Just don't tire yourself out ok?" He started to pad out of the den, glancing around camp for other cats

(Heh, lol. I want a power! *laser eyes* Yeah, maybe not laser eyes. Luv the new background!)
Duskheart padded after him. "We really need more cats." she meowed grimly.
(How about we ADVERTISE ADVERTISE ADVERTISE EVERYWHERE! Do you have Google+?)

(Nu I don't think so. You can advertise though)
"Yes we do. Unfortunately the only solution to that problem is more kits, and we have no queens. I fear that by leaf-bare we won't have enough warriors... Do you think it is time to make our kits apprentices?" Lionstar meowed

(I will advertise then. *hauls out gargatuan neon sign* Meh, maybe not.)
Duskheart blinked. Her brothers might be made apprentices! "Who would mentor them?" she murmured. "It is, well, unusual for cats to mentor their own kin. Would it be a good idea for me to mentor Talonkit or Oakkit? It is, after all, against the warrior code for the deputy not to have an apprentice." Duskheart flicked her tail.
